Lucia Mancuso President, Managing Director
Lucia is the president and lead strategist for The Blog Studio. She has spent more than 5 years submersed in social media. She specializes in developing and executing strategy for brands of all sizes to increase their profile, user base, community and revenue streams.
She began developing her skills at the University of Western Ontario and the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design and perfected them during her seven years in marketing, events management and business development. Her breadth of skills, eye for detail and love of design led to her becoming the lead graphic designer for an internationally renowned snowboarding apparel company. She’s also a contributor to Tech TV, offering commentary on blogging and blog design.
Luciaʼs experience includes deep knowledge of both the technical and creative side of the social media world. Because she is just as comfortable leading developers, educating clients on website usability, writing blog posts, expanding a community or explaining ideas to the press. She incorporates her love of design, social media and marketing into all of our projects. When not working, you’ll find her playing volleyball or in a yoga class.
Michael Dolan Strategy & Outreach
Michael Dolan has been involved with social media since it required a dial up modem to access an esoteric service called ‘The Internet’. With extensive experience in public relations in the tech sector, he brings a combination of traditional and bleeding edge media skills to the table. He has secured media placements in all the top English language media outlets including Time Magazine, the New York Times, LA Times and Wired Magazine. Michael’s ideas and strategies have been described as ‘clever’ and ‘lucid’ in publications like Crain’ s and InfoWorld. When the geeks need a geek, Michael Dolan is who they call. The few minutes a day he isn’t online making a stir, Dolan can be found racing bikes throughout the US. He calls Brooklyn, New York home.

Nalin Sharma, Account Director
Nalin is a graduate of McMaster University, and after getting out of Humber college began freelancing for tech companies in Toronto learning the ropes before joining the team at The Blog Studio.
He has an eye for design, development skills and is a damn friendly fellow. Nalin is a truly gifted communicator who specializes in bridging the gap between the deep tech world and everyone else.
Nalin spends his days riding hard on all The Blog Studio projects to ensure that every client gets exactly what they want at the end of the day.
When he’s not keeping the wheels greased at work, you can find him following the NBA, swinging a tennis racket or hanging from a climbing rope somewhere.
Peter Flaschner Founder, Creative Dictator
Peter’s formal education is in marketing and design. But it’s his broad and varied experience as an entrepreneur that makes him unusually well suited to modern blog and web design. Peter launched The Blog Studio in early 2005, after experiencing blogging’s benefits first hand. His personal site, Almost Cool was (once upon a time) a very popular destination for designers and web based entrepreneurs.
When he’s not in front of the computer, you’ll find Peter playing with his two young daughters, riding his ridiculously expensive road bike, skiing, playing guitar in his band, or with his nose stuck in a book.
